If you are a coffee lover then you are going to love this handy little cheat on how to make a DIY coffee candle in minutes.
This is a super easy way to make your house smell gorgeous if you have guests coming over but don’t like them enough to light the Jo Malone candle. Yep – we thought so. Us too.
The fresh coffee aroma will hide any bad smells that maybe lurking and will be welcoming yet sophisticated. Mmmmm.
What You Do
- First of all, you need to find a heat proof pretty pot or ramekin.
- Fill it right up with some fresh coffee beans and then position a vanilla tea light or little candle in the middle of the beans.
- If you really want to you can even use flavoured coffee beans such as Vanilla or Pumpkin Spice although we recommend staying clear of the wackier flavours – popcorn and caramel may not give quite the same impression you may be searching for.
- Light the candle and as it burns, the coffee beans will release a wafting aroma of freshly brewed coffee. Sadly we don’t have a scratch ‘n’ sniff website yet but you get the gist.
Or of course you could just brew some actual coffee……..but where’s the fun in that?
