If you are a coffee lover then you are going to love this handy little cheat on how to make a DIY coffee candle in minutes.

This is a super easy way to make your house smell gorgeous if you have guests coming over but don’t like them enough to light the Jo Malone candle. Yep – we thought so. Us too.

The fresh coffee aroma will hide any bad smells that maybe lurking and will be welcoming yet sophisticated. Mmmmm.

What You Do

  1. First of all, you need to find a heat proof pretty pot or ramekin.
  2. Fill it right up with some fresh coffee beans and then position a vanilla tea light or little candle in the middle of the beans.
  3. If you really want to you can even use flavoured coffee beans such as Vanilla or Pumpkin Spice although we recommend staying clear of the wackier flavours – popcorn and caramel may not give quite the same impression you may be searching for.
  4. Light the candle and as it burns, the coffee beans will release a wafting aroma of freshly brewed coffee. Sadly we don’t have a scratch ‘n’ sniff website yet but you get the gist.

Or of course you could  just brew some actual coffee……..but where’s the fun in that?
